The Santa María Movement is a Catholic association that follows the charism of the Jesuit priest Tomás Morales, whose distinctive features are the care of families and young people, the importance of education and involvement in the construction of society.It had its origins in the Madrid of the post-war period, with the creation of the social work Home of the Employee, in whose bosom the secular institute Cruzados de Santa María was born, which would later give rise to an educational work focused on the education of youth, especially through non-formal education.
